The best transformations often begin with a challenge. In 2025, a shift in global trade suddenly cut off our access to the premium hair we had trusted for years. As stylists, we knew we couldn’t settle for “good enough”—our clients deserved better.

What started as a search for a solution turned into a global mission. Allison and Kelsie, the founders of Ivy & Kae, spent months rigorously vetting suppliers and testing countless samples. We weren’t just looking for a new vendor; we were sourcing a product that met our uncompromising standards for texture, longevity, and ethical sourcing.

After a dedicated journey of trial and refinement, we finally discovered our signature hair. We didn’t just find a replacement—we found an upgrade. Today, we are thrilled to share this professional-grade quality with our fellow stylists and clients across Canada.

With 20 years of experience behind the chair, I’ve learned that hair is about much more than just a service—it’s about how you feel when you leave the room. I’ve spent two decades honing my craft as a specialist in high-end blondes and transformative extensions.

In 2020, I founded Ivy Salon out of a necessity for change. I wanted to create a space where I could stop following corporate salon rules and start focusing on what truly makes my clients—and myself—happy. At Ivy, it’s not about the bottom line; it’s about the art of the transformation and the joy of the craft.

Co-Founder · Extension & Color Specialist Since 2016

Since 2016, my professional focus has been dedicated to the art of the hair transformation. Specializing in extensions alongside blonde and lived-in color, I utilize the versatility of modern hair systems to solve common hair challenges.

Experience has shown that the most impactful results come from the marriage of color and volume. Whether the goal is a dramatic change in length or a sophisticated increase in fullness, my methods are grounded in years of hands-on specialty work. Every installation is an opportunity to showcase the versatility of extensions—using them to manipulate length, density, and color to create a result that is both high-impact and expertly crafted.
